Welcome to Smart Kid’s Childcare Club
Smart Kid’s club is a fun, caring and friendly after-school , weekend and holiday club for children aged 5-15 years.
We are situated on Hollins Road in Oldham. Surrounded by local schools allows us to pick your child from school and bring them to the centre until you are ready to pick them up from us.
Children are given a tasty, healthy snack, drink and/or meal. A range of indoor and outdoor play activities are offered, we have weekly themes for activities that are planned in consultation with the children and parents. We also have a quiet room for reading and staff help kids do their homework.
All of our staff hold are DBS checked and qualified.

Activities we offer
Indoor Activities
Outside the classroom ways of keeping engaged. . This may include walking through the local park, collecting natural objects, rambling, outdoor crafts, nature trips.
Number Works
Helping kids work through their maths school homework skills. Number skills are developed through games, puzzles, videos and group discussions.
Games & Puzzles
We offer a range of board games that challenge your child’s mental ability from Suduko to scramble to Pictionary, operation, monopoly and so much more.
Outdoor Activities
Particularly in the summer we take children for trips for outdoor activity workshop. Activities may include , cycling, abseiling, problem solving activities (Walking the Plank/tower building) and many more!
IT and Computer Skills
Children will practice creating work pieces through practicing the use of different IT skills. Children will get an opportunity to present their work and enter competitions for what they have produced.
Coping with Social-media and Peer Pressure
Children will get a chance to talk to their children about the dangers of participating in activities based on pressure from peers. Bad choices can lead to unwise choices
Selfcare
This will consists of tips or suggestions to improve and protect the well-being of children and young people. It will help children develop tools to help children develop a mindset of self-care, appreciation and understanding of them -selves.
Planting & Gardening
Although we will try to run this through-out the year sometimes the weather will determine the length of the activities. It will be hands-on and the children will be able to partake in gardening activities.
Confidence & Leadership
Children will learn to Recognise of authentic leadership strengths to lead effectively in times of disruption, and the tools to drive change through collaboration, communication, and influence.

Summer: 8:00am till 6:00pm Mon-Sun
Half Term Hols: 8:00am till 6:00pm Mon-Sun
Winter Hols: 11:00am till 6:00pm
*We are closed New Years Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and all bank holidays
Costs
Half Day: £35.00
Full Day: £60.00 ( with snack & lunch)
Full Week: £275.00
£12.50 per hour.
